DreamBox Leadership Team Expands

New executives arrive to help propel the next phase of growth

Three leaders in finance, marketing outreach, and experience design have joined the DreamBox team to build out new initiatives for our Intelligent Adaptive Learning platform. They bring deep technical expertise in their fields. And these remarkable individuals have also committed years of dedication to child education and public service. They share with DreamBox president and CEO Jessie Woolley-Wilson a clear focus on the greater good.

Jessie says, “DreamBox has a bold mission to radically change the way the world learns. And we’re honored to welcome three team members who share our ambition and vision for unlocking the learning potential of every child, regardless of their zip code.”

Meet Lance Ludman, the new Chief Financial Officer, who will enhance the solid DreamBox financial foundation with sound investment strategies. He most recently worked almost nine years as CFO for the largest cloud software company in the world that serves only philanthropic nonprofit organizations. He also finds time to be Treasurer of the Lowcountry Children’s Museum in Charleston, S.C.

Jamie Gier brings 20 years in healthcare technology to her new role as DreamBox Senior Vice President of Marketing. She’ll work in close partnership with the sales team to reach more schools, teachers, and administrators in North America and beyond whose students can benefit from DreamBox. For several years she expressed her passion for education as a board member of Page Ahead, a literacy-focused nonprofit serving at-risk kids in Washington State.

Meghan Browne now joins us as Senior Vice President of Client Experience and Success. She will lead the way to map out new visions for how an expanding number of people will interact with and experience the DreamBox tools. She has served as Chief Operating Officer at NewSchools Venture Fund, an education investment firm. And also worked with the Gates Foundation to manage investment of $75 million in annuals grants for K12 Next Generation Learning.

2018 marked an incredible milestone year for DreamBox, with receipt of a $130 million investment from The Rise Fund and the Codie Award for Best Mathematics Instructional Solution. Our expanded and robust executive team is poised to create even stronger support for thousands more teachers and millions more students in a whole new era of growth.
