DreamBox Math on iPad® is here! And students, teachers, and parents love it.
From Alabama to Canada and schools in-between, kids and teachers who’ve had preview access have been telling us that they love the DreamBox Math for iPad app.
As of November 1, 2013, you can try it (before you buy it) or use it (as part of your existing school, or home DreamBox subscription). It has the same rigorous curriculum and detailed reporting aligned to standards that teachers, administrators, and parents appreciate, and a fun, game-like environment that kids can’t get enough of in the classroom, learning lab, at home—and now, on the go.
Rich reporting and performance assessments
For educators, the DreamBox Math app delivers real-time data that can be used to create effective lesson plans and fine-tune work groups for both off- and on-line instruction in blended learning environments. Such rich reporting allows teachers to dynamically monitor students as they progress toward mastery of a given concept or skill, and ultimately proficiency in mathematics. Performance assessments are tracked against Common Core State Standards, Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL), Western and Northern Canadian Protocol (WNCP) Mathematics Framework, and the Ontario Curriculum.
Easy, anywhere/anytime math learning
This anticipated and highly requested app features more than 1,300 PreK–Grade 5 interactive and adaptive lessons and virtual manipulatives that have been fully optimized for touch—just the way kids like it. Polly and Amanda, Teachers at J. E. Ober Elementary in Garrett, Indiana report: “It amazed us how quickly my kids were proficient with it. It’s so easy to use!” and “My kids love it! We use it every day. They even choose to play DreamBox during their free time.”
A hit in Canada
DreamBox Learning Math is catching fire in Canada, and so is the new app. William Tonnies, a teacher at Oakwood School (DSBN) in Port Colborne, Ontario, says, “My second graders became so proficient in math by the end of last year that they had no trouble mastering triple-digit functions! I now have my sons using DreamBox Math on the iPad at home. They love to play it, and I love how much they are learning … It’s just so easy to use.”
… and in Alabama
“The app works seamlessly with our curriculum and instruction,” raves Melissa Tucker, LS Technology Integration Specialist at Randolph School in Huntsville, Alabama. “With iPads available in all of our Lower School classrooms, DreamBox fits effortlessly into our teachers’ center rotations. There’s no extra teacher preparation needed and the kids love to play it!” You can read more A+ reviews here.
We can’t wait to hear what you think!
