I believe that animation can play a huge role in math education. Many students need visual aids and struggle with math because they can not visualize what is being discussed. Often children will ask "why do I need to learn this"? Through the use of animation in mathematics education we might be able to offer students a more relevant approach to learning math, one that they can apply to the "real" world.
