The Big 10: DreamBox Learning Hero Awards
10 Educators and 10 Administrators Recognized as Math Learning Leaders
DreamBox Learning is proud to support educators at every step. This year, we’ve selected 10 teachers and 10 administrators who have delivered excellence in education and student success through the use of DreamBox Math. They are winners of the DreamBox Learning Hero Award.
The awards recognize and celebrate educators and administrators who have delivered excellence in education and student success through the use of DreamBox’s K-8 adaptive math solution. Their passion and dedication to improving student outcomes are demonstrated through a personalized learning experience that encourages students to think differently about math, actively engages families and communities, and supports teacher professional learning. We’re continuing the celebration this year at the ISTE 2016 Conference and Expo held in Denver June 26-29.
What does it take to be a DreamBox Learning Hero?
“These honorees represent an inspirational class of learning leaders that are truly committed to empowering students to embrace learning and gain the confidence that comes from genuine understanding,” said Jessie Woolley-Wilson, president and CEO of DreamBox Learning. “We are honored to partner with such a visionary group of educators who work tirelessly to support exceptional teaching and unlock the learning potential in each student.”
DreamBox Learning Heroes are Making News!
Not only are our heroes helping make math learning more personalized and engaging, but they’re also making the news. In Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Linden Elementary School second-grade teacher Amy Fuqua is one of the 10 teachers being recognized as a DreamBox Learning Hero, who has also been nominated as Teacher of the Year because of the learning strides made with her math students. You can read more about her in this story that just appeared in Oak Ridge Today. KPC news.com noted that Anna Wiley, a paraprofessional at McKenney-Harrison Elementary School in Auburn, Indiana, has also been selected as a DreamBox Learning Hero. Both were two of the 100 nominated teachers and administrators to receive the distinction after being critiqued in three rounds of judging.
