Position Summary


Teachers work closely with the academic, creative and development teams to create an interactive online math program for K-6. Teachers also plan curriculum, create virtual manipulatives, and write, test and edit lessons. Teachers interact regularly with company advisors, investors, customers and academia.

The successful applicant must demonstrate the introspective skills needed to teach thousands of diverse students, be data-driven, technically literate and motivated to look at teaching in broad ways.

Responsibilities & Requirements


We're building a large scale web service using modern web technologies to deliver learning experiences to students. You'll join a small, nimble team of experienced educators, software engineers and graphic artists with experience in large corporations and small start-ups.

You'll be working on the design, features, and functionality to create a web-based product. This includes:

  • Solving hard problems related to digitizing curriculum
  • Collaborating on content standards, lessons, and assessment design
  • Translating curriculum and assessment design into software specifications for Creative and Engineering teams
  • Cultivating relationships and creating partnerships with academicians, schools, and key thinkers in the fields of cognitive science, educational technology, mathematics, and curriculum and assessment
  • Ensuring product design reflects best practices and current research in education by sharing vision, gaining collegial support, and executing against Company plan
