Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Position Summary
A Customer Service Representative (CSR) is a vital member of DreamBox Learning’s mission
to deliver world class customer service to all customers. We're building a large scale web
service using modern web technologies to deliver learning experiences to students. You'll
join a small, nimble team of experienced educators, software engineers and graphic artists
with experience in large corporations and small start-ups.
Our culture is high-integrity, informal, and intense.
This position requires both email and phone communication with customers, utilizing a wide
variety of software tools to navigate customer accounts, research and review issues, and
communicate effective responses. The CSR will also represent customer issues to the rest
of the team and help prioritize and develop solutions.
- 20-30 hours per week temporary position with flexible hours (no benefits)

Responsibilities & Requirements
- Answer and return calls and emails from customers with an appropriate sense of urgency, excellent quality and productivity
- Track customer inquiries and enter customer information into a database
- Escalate customer issues appropriately and correctly
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor and portray the company in a positive light
- Learn and utilize internal systems, resources, policies and procedures to provide our customers timely and exemplary service and support
- Help create, extend and enhance customer service solutions, policies, and processes
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Six months or more experience with phone and online customer service required, with an excellent record of success
- Exceptional clear and polite written and oral communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a desire to constantly make things better
- Excellent Internet navigation skills, with at least basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (College degree a plus)
- Ability to learn and apply technical information
- Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English
