Senior Graphic Designer
Responsibilities & Requirements
The senior graphic designer will work as a key contributor to the creative, academic and, development teams as we bring the company’s vision to life. This will include planning and creating and producing interactive design solutions for an online flash-based learning application for children. The senior graphic designer will work in all aspects of the creative process and will help deliver world class products.
Education and Experience
Degree in Graphic Design and 8+ years full time experience with a design agency or in house design team creating interactive design solutions.
Qualifications
All candidates must:
- Adobe Creative Suite - Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop Expert
- Have a portfolio of innovative projects that showcase their skills
- Have strong Illustration and drawing skills
- Have the ability to think through complex design concepts in a collaborative environment
- Have experience writing functional specifications
- Have a strong work ethic
- Work independently and learn new skills quickly
- Work well in a fast paced collaborative environment
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Meet and exceed deadlines!
- Experience managing design or production contractors
Additional useful skills:
- Have Audio production experience
- Experience with children’s software or learning software
- Animation experience
- Print production experience
- Have web authoring experience
- Experience with 3-D applications
