DreamBox Learning® Hires Dr. Tim Hudson to Lead Future Development of Math Curriculum

BELLEVUE, Wash., November 9, 2011 – DreamBox Learning (www.dreambox.com), today announced that it has hired Tim Hudson, Ph.D. as Director of Curriculum Design. In this role, Dr. Hudson will be responsible for guiding the vision, design and performance of DreamBox Learning’s Math curriculum.

Dr. Hudson brings more than a decade of K-12 public education experience to DreamBox Learning. Since 2006, he has served as the Curriculum Coordinator of K-12 Mathematics for the Parkway School District in St. Louis, MO, facilitating the development of the K-12 math curriculum; the development of district-wide math benchmark assessments; the creation of a math intervention program; and the selection of math-based technology tools and textbook materials.

Prior to Dr. Hudson’s extensive contributions in the Parkway School District, he was a high school mathematics teacher in the Pattonville School District in St. Louis, where he taught Geometry, Algebra II, and Discrete Mathematics. As a classroom teacher, Dr. Hudson also served on several district-level committees including the Superintendent’s Teachers Advisory Council, District Technology Committee, and Curriculum Coordinating Council.
