BELLEVUE, Washington —Jan. 29, 2019— DreamBox Learning®, which pioneered Intelligent Adaptive Learning™ technology used in schools across the U.S., Mexico and Canada, today announced three new executives have joined the leadership team to accelerate growth, expand market penetration and increase impact on student math learning.
Lance Ludman joins the company as Chief Financial Officer, Jamie Gier as Senior Vice President of Marketing, and Meghan Browne as Senior Vice President of Client Experience and Success.

As Chief Financial Officer, Lance Ludman is responsible for the financial and investment strategy for DreamBox. Ludman will also lead the company’s business intelligence and operations function. Most recently, Ludman served as CFO of the Enterprise Markets Group for Blackbaud, the largest cloud software company providing solutions exclusively to philanthropic organizations worldwide.
Jamie Gier is responsible for leading marketing strategy, brand management and corporate communications as DreamBox’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. Gier will partner closely with DreamBox’s sales organization to develop market-leading demand creation and product marketing programming, as well as go-to-market strategies to support growth goals. Prior to joining DreamBox, Gier led brand strategy, corporate communications, product marketing, and demand generation for SCI Solutions, a leading patient access and care coordination software firm.
As Senior Vice President of Client Experience and Success, Meghan Browne is responsible for designing and leading DreamBox’s customer experience vision and strategy. Browne leads the roadmap, toolkit and critical initiatives that will distinguish DreamBox’s customer experience in client onboarding, activation, support and expansion. Before joining the DreamBox team, Browne served as Chief Operating Officer at NewSchools Venture Fund, an education innovation investment firm, where she led strategy development, communications, operations, human resources and finance.
These new leaders join DreamBox after a milestone year in which the company experienced the strongest growth in its 12-year history. In 2018, the company received $130 million in investment from TPG’s The Rise Fund, received multiple awards including the 2018 Codie Award for Best Mathematics Instructional Solution and two EdTech Digest awards, and grew to support 140,000 teachers and 3 million students, while delivering nearly 400 million lessons.
