DreamBox Learning® Wins SIIA Education Technology CODiE Award

DreamBox Learning Elementary and Middle School Math Honored with “Best PK-12 Personalized Learning Solution”

BELLEVUE, Wash. (May 7, 2015)—DreamBox Learning® (www.dreambox.com) announced today that The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) recognized the company as the “Best PK-12 Personalized Learning Solution” category for the second time with a CODiE Award. DreamBox Learning Math was recognized in this category for its rigorous, teacher-designed curriculum which is delivered via a dynamic adaptive engine that meets each student’s individual academic needs. DreamBox Learning was also a finalist in two other CODiE award categories including “Best Mathematics Instructional Solution” and “Best Game-Based Curriculum Solution,” making it the only math education provider to be finalist in three categories.

DreamBox Learning Math has been designed as a curriculum that supports each student as a unique learner, and empowers students of all backgrounds and abilities to take an active role in their learning journey. Students master math concepts and build confidence and competence because of the personalized pathways, scaffolding, and curriculum design. DreamBox Learning partners with educators to bring together great teaching and meaningful, actionable data to impact learning. This combination enhances teacher effectiveness, grows teacher understanding, and empowers teachers to utilize formative data to think, plan, and act providing opportunities for further differentiation.

The company focus and commitment to impact education is being realized as the number of students using DreamBox Learning Math has consistently doubled each year for the past four years. The CODIE award adds to a list of milestones for DreamBox in the 2014-15 school year including delivering more than one million math lessons daily and the projected delivery of 150 million lessons before the end of the year.

“All of us at DreamBox are honored and humbled by this award,” said Jessie Woolley-Wilson, President and CEO at DreamBox Learning. “This acknowledgement, which comes from such an esteemed group of educators and industry peers, further underscores our commitment to delivering a high-quality, engaging experience for all students to accelerate learning and ultimately unlock their human potential.”

The CODiE win comes shortly after the company earned a Return on Education Innovation award last month at the 2015 ASU+GSV Education Innovation Summit for its demonstrated impact in education, marking the third straight year that DreamBox Learning was recognized with this honor. To date, DreamBox Learning has won 40 education and technology industry accolades for its ability to support excellence in teaching and learning and deliver a high level of student engagement, personalization and academic rigor with an Intelligent Adaptive Learning platform.
