DreamBox is ‘solving for X’ at CMC South
Join us at the 58th Annual Mathematics Conference in Palm Springs, October 27–28
The California Mathematics Council (CMC) South conference kicks off on October 27th, and DreamBox is excited to be both a presenter and an exhibitor at the event, which is expected to attract more than 3,500 educators and administrators of all levels.
This year, the theme is “Growing Powerful Students by Using Mathematics as a GPS to Empower All”—including English language learners, under-represented students, and students with special needs. Attendees will have more than 280 sessions to choose from—presented by top mathematics educators from California and across the United States.
Our own Kelly Urlacher, senior curriculum designer at DreamBox Learning, will be co-presenting two separate sessions on preparing students for Algebra alongside two local educational experts from the Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) and the Tulare City School District, respectively. We encourage you to add one or both titles to your list of must-see sessions. Times, locations, and descriptions follow:

Download the new conference attendee app
CMC-South is using Event Rebels’ ERMobile app for conference updates and more. The new mobile app not only gives you the schedule of speakers, but also provides you with a convenient evaluation tool. At the bottom of each session listing, you’ll find a “Complete Session Survey” link.
You can find iPhone/iOS and Android versions of the app at the App Store on your mobile device. Simply download ERMobile and log in with your email address and your registration id # (found on your confirmation and on your badge). At the end of the conference, you’ll also receive a conference evaluation to complete.
Join the conversation on social media
Keep your eye on the hashtag #cmcmath before, during, and after the conference to see what people are talking about, and to be the first to hear about special events or announcements. Here are some other hashtags you may want to add to your Twitter repertoire to get the most out of this event: #EQSJMath, #mathequity, and #MTBoS. Finally, if you’re not already following DreamBox on Twitter, here’s our handle: @DreamBox_Learn.
Hope to see you in Palm Springs!
