Amended Florida Legislation Paves Way for Online and Blended Learning Models to Assist in Elementary Math Instruction

BELLEVUE, Wash., October 22, 2012 – DreamBox Learning® (, the leading intelligent adaptive learning™ company, today announced that it has formed a strategic alliance with Florida Virtual School® (FLVS®) ( to deliver more personalized learning experiences to Florida elementary students with its award-winning adaptive learning technology and mathematics curriculum. Through the agreement, FLVS is the first virtual institution to provide elementary teachers and students access to the DreamBox Learning Math program as part of an online or blended learning environment. The collaboration follows the State of Florida’s decision to amend legislation to allow students in grades Kindergarten-5 to have access to part-time online grade level coursework through FLVS.
